Icons of Fortune: an exhibition of engravings by Facundo Fierro at the Parliament of the Canary Islands (2010)

On June 21, 2010, the Parliament of the Canary Islands inaugurated "Icons of Fortune," an exhibition of engravings by Facundo Fierro organized in collaboration with the Notarial Association of the Canary Islands. The institutional note announced that the exhibition would tour the archipelago starting in August of that same year.

That tour was confirmed independently: the RNE archive preserves a broadcast of "Canarias Mediodía" from August 2010 that places the exhibition in El Hierro, and the specialized database ArteInformado documents the exhibition that same month at the Cabildo of El Hierro, describing it as an exhibition of engravings and paintings.

The coincidence of three independent sources—the Parliament itself, public radio, and a specialized sector database—makes "Icons of Fortune" one of the best-documented traveling exhibitions in Fierro's exhibition history.
