Facundo Fierro at Fashion Art: twenty years of art and fashion at the Museu de Mataró

In 2023, the Mataró Museum celebrated twenty years of the Fashion Art project with an exhibition of 29 dresses and 28 artist interventions on fashion, according to the city council itself. Among the participants was Facundo Fierro, alongside names such as Rafael Canogar, Luis Gordillo, Agustín Ibarrola, and Ouka Leele.

Fierro's presence in this institutional retrospective confirms, externally to his own portfolio, his participation in Fashion Art, a project documented in its design catalog through pieces such as "FashionArt Design 1" and "FashionArt Dress 1": interventions that combine Fierro's pictorial language with textile design, in line with other visual artists who at different times have worked with fashion as a creative medium.
